The Current Collective

It’s been fantastic to watch the growth of the experiential industry over the last 20 years, with increasing recognition that experiences are a hugely powerful tool when it comes to creating brand advocacy that influences the purchasing decision.

I’m really looking forward to seeing the best in class entries from the traditional experiential, event and conference agencies this year and most importantly, the new heirs to the throne. The new talent coming through is phenomenal and the creative continues to blow me away every day. Good luck with your entries!

Damian has worked in brand experience and live communications for over 20 years now, and still feels an unbounded passion for producing strong strategic work coupled with fantastic creative to really engage with customers.

Making use of his considerable links to the Market Research business (running qualitative group discussions for many years) and his experience working with both Advertising/PR agencies and big brands directly, he founded Undercurrent in 2001.

Having worked with diverse clients as Sony PlayStation, Samsung, Live Nation and Pandora jewellery, he fully understands what brands need to do in order to present a tangible message to a live audience. This sentiment is echoed in the recent launches of three new agency propositions, providing; promotional staffing, stunts and branded video content and ultimately, the complete brand experience package.
