PRODUCE UK is led by practising artist and placemaking specialist Catherine Borowski, who has over 16 years’ experience of working in the event industry. As MD of the PRODUCE UK independent and creative practice, Catherine has built up a network of cultural programmers, conceptual artists, producers, digital strategists, designers and creatives that specialise in media and creative brand experiences.
Catherine has an enormously broad portfolio of premium experience having worked with clients including Lumiere Light Festival, London Festival of Architecture, Cartoon Network, London Festival Week, Hem, Vanity Fair, Nike, Adidas and Discovery Channel. One of her passions and areas of expertise is experiential placemaking. She leads the senior team that works closely with developers Argent LLP to make King’s Cross an immersive and engaging public space. PRODUCE UK has delivered more than 50 events for them over the last five years, from the recent Punkx experience, to installations from Richard Wentworth and the Curious? festival of knowledge and learning.
In 2017 Catherine launched SKIP Gallery - a roving art gallery for contemporary art, The inaugural show featured an installation / collaboration between Catherine and Lee baker, SKIP then hosted life drawing classes inside a skip as part of ArtNight and recently featured a site specific sculpture by Turner prize nominee David Shrigley.
