Joost is the CEO for Project: Worldwide for EMEIA. Based out of their beautiful new office near Waterloo station he sets the strategic vision for the region.
His key focus is the continuous development of our existing agencies’ offering (e.g. George P. Johnson) as well as identifying exciting new agencies for future collaboration or acquisition.
Project is an independent, global network of 14 wholly-owned creative agencies, with 2,200 people in 46 offices. The network was born from experiential and formed with the intention to invest in agencies that could deliver deeper, more engaging brand stories. Whether that means producing the largest technology conferences, immersing audiences in fantastic worlds of light and color, or helping brands pave the way in the digital era, Project’s agencies make things that inspire people to participate and act on behalf of our clients’ brands
Previously, Joost was COO for TeamHSBC (the dedicated global group of WPP agencies delivering integrated marketing and creative services) and his most recent role at MEC was CEO for APAC, overseeing 22 offices in 15 market
He started his career at Unilever where he held various positions in brand and product management.
